CHA was Fabulous!

Jennie (from our design team) and I just returned from an exciting trip to the biggest scrapbooking trade show of the year - CHA. Wow, there are so many new products that we found. Now, the challenge is to fit all of them into our kits!

The Heidi Swapp booth was one of my favorites. I think I went back at least 4 times to look at everything! Love the new big items such as photo corners, brads and ghost shapes. So fun! I am also really excited about her new stamps! LOVE them and you will for sure be seeing some of them in our kits.


There were so many fun embellishments, I just can't name them all. But some favorites were from Imaginisce with the corduroy brads and mini bling blossoms!


We have placed orders with Basic Grey, KI Memories (for the new Elsie Flannigan stuff), American Crafts, Heidi Swapp, Tinkering Ink and many more.

February and December

As I was making some fun layouts with the new February kit, I discovered that the rose-colored cardstock from December is a perfect match with the kraft paper in the February kit! It's almost as if it were planned that way! So, if you have any leftover from December, now is a great time to use it! I've also used that cardstock with paper from the summer months. Here are some layouts using it! Enjoy.

February Peaks

Just thought that I would give a little peak into what you can be watching for in our February kits. We are going to offering 3 kits this month: Our main kit (the subscription kit), an add-on kit that coordinates with the main kit and a mini kit filled more with things we love.

Here is a partial picture of the February kit:

This kit is filled with Cloud 9 Sweetheart paper and Making Memories Kraft Line paper. Loads of fun embellishments such as sparkling stickers, rub-ons, glitter alpha chipboard, an adorable purse accordion album and more!

Here is a sneak peak of the mini kit:

This kit will include 6 sheets of patterned paper, 4 sheets of cardstock, an alphabet, label holders, ghost flowers, ric rac, twill and big flowers all for only $10.99!

Pictures of the add-on kit will be up by the end of the week!

The mini kit and add-on kit will be available for purchase on our site at midnight (Mountain time) on February 1st. These will ship with your main kit for no additional charge. (International orders will pay actual shipping.) You can also purchase these kits without purchasing the main kit. (Shipping charges will apply.)

You can reserve your main February kit now by using the checkout on our site on the January kit page. Just put in the comments if you would like your subscription to start with January or February. (We only have a couple of January kits left, so make sure to get one while you can!)

We're listening and learning

Over a year ago, we decided to start Scrapbook Circle and what a year this has been! We have learned so much about what makes a good kit and what you, our friends, like and want in a kit. On Friday, Lisa and I got together for the day to put together the February kits. WOW - I LOVE it so much! This kit came together so well! Please let us know what you think! We also are starting to label our kits... the labels turned out so cute! Also, be looking for other surprises in the kits.

Using the chipboard F

We included a large chipboard F in our January kit. Some of you may be wondering how you are going to use this, so I thought that I would share a few ideas with you.

This is something that you could use as an embellishment on a layout. You could use it on a wall mixed in with photos and other framed art. You could also set it on a book shelf or end table.

There are so many wonderful words that start with F:

Family
Friendship
Fabulous
Fun
Fantastic
Friends
Funny
Forever
Favorite

I decided to use the word Family on my F and I am displaying it on a book shelf with along with family pictures.

I'm Back

Here's a huge thank you to everyone, especially Lisa, since we launched Scrapbook Circle last May! I just had a baby and have been on bed rest for the past 8 months. Becca was born 11/22 and I have been recovering well, so now I'm back and ready to share with each of you my excitement for Scrapbook Circle's kits. Lisa has been amazing, as I'm sure you already know, at keeping things rolling these past few months.
We are really excited for the February and March kits! SO CUTE! And Lisa is preparing to go to CHA-Anaheim, where we'll be selecting the next few months. So if you have any ideas or requests, put them in NOW so we can consider them.
