June Mini Album Playtime

Last night I spent about an hour playing with the June kit and put together this little album celebrating a few family highlights from 2007. This album and everything I used is in the kit! :)

The heart on the cover is a Heidi Swapp mirror - a little hard to see in the picture because of the reflection.

I LOVE that all of the paper is double-sided. This makes hanging paper off the edge of the mini album more fun because it looks great from both the front and back!

Only 1 week left until June!

Dust Off an Old Technique

I've had a Heidi Swapp paper distressor for a long time, but just recently pulled it out for a layout with the May kit.

It was so fun to distress all of the photo edges. This gave the perfect outdoors/adventure look I was hoping for.

One extra little tip: I created the circle on my layout by using the bottom of my trash can as a template! Isn't it fun to find new uses for old things?

Sneak June project kit

This was a super fun kit to work with! I absolutely LOVED the paper! And the project came together quickly. The beauty of it, you can either keep it as a mini album, or display it as a star on your mantel, I created pockets for journaling or just little momentos you want to remember of a special event. It sure would make a fabulous gift! Enjoy!

You can purchase the album HERE!

June Peek!

Only 2 weeks until June!

Here is what you have to look forward to...

Hope you're as excited as we are :)

Another Wheel from the May kit

When I first got the wheel, I was really unsure what to do with it....1 for our family using each hole for the kids, DH & I, and 1 family picture. Use it as a chore chart...but I don't know what chores my kids do...LOL. Or use it for fav pictures? I decided to use it for our trip to the Holy Land. It was perfect! I use the different openings for the different places we visited. Then I added the name of the place at the top. It's a great learning tool for the kids and helps them remember where we went.
The papers from the May kit worked perfectly for travel pictures, especially to these ancient sites. Creating this project made me miss our trip so much. It helps me relive the events and how amazing it was!
