Yet Another Use For Burlap??!!!

Mornin' Yall! Aymee (Southernbellescrapper) here bright and early on this sunny Thursday. I hope each of you are having a great morning so far. I have started to dig into the spectacular April kit for SBC, but still am using up the March kit as well. I just am crazy over the burlap!!! While playing around, I found another use for this scrappy medium....burlap lollipop flowers!!! These are so simple to make and really have a different edge to them. I simply used a circle template and traced 3 different sizes of circles onto the back of the burlap and cut them out. Once cut, I crinkled up each circle into my hand several times. I then placed the circles one on top of each other, starting with the largest at the bottom. I added a brad to the center, attached with sturdy adhesive (I used Helmar Scrap Dots) and placed it on top of leaves and patterned paper. Here is a card I made using the burlap lollipop flower...
As you can see here, they really do offer wonderful dimension. I also love the rough edges!
Ok, back to playing with the new kit for April! Yall are gonna love this kit!!! It is filled to the brim with all sorts of scrappy goodness! Have a fabulous day and Happy Scrappin'!
