How about a Color Combo Challenge?
I am all about creating cards and layouts for challenge blogs...you could say I'm just slightly addicted to it! There are so many challenge blogs out there, so with limited "scrappy" time, I have to limit myself to just a few! :0)
I recently discovered SPCC Color Combos and thought I'd share a card that I created this week for Color Combo #7:
Summer Sun, Old Olive & Bermuda Breeze
I have been wanting to try a die cut shaped card, & finally did it. I started with a white cardstock base that was pre-folded. I chose my largest Nestabilities Scallop Circle die which measures approx. 4 inches across. Using my Cuttlebug, I placed the die under the card, allowing the die to overhang the folded edge of the card, thus creating the hinge for the top of the card.
Here's "BLOOM where you are planted":
and a view from above, so that you can see how the card hinges at the top:
I used the yellow Bazzill cardstock from the May kit and the Sassafras Vintage Yummy-Memory Lane from the July kit. All other supplies came from my stash!
I encourage you to find a challenge blog; you will be surprised at what you can create when just given a little nudge in a different direction! Plus, there are usually scrappy goodies up for grabs! Now who doesn't love that???
Thanks for stopping by! Take care! & enjoy the weekend!!!

Thank you Stacy for showing how you cut the card and saved the hinged part. Darling card!
