Reenergizing my batteries...

For the past 2 weeks, things have been pretty slow for me on the scrapbooking front. I've been wanting to scrap, but I simply haven't had the energy for it. Has that ever happened to you?

You see, 5 weeks ago, I walked into my house to find an inch of water in my kitchen/dining room. The upstairs toilet cracked and leaked for a whole day! We have walls, floors and ceilings to be redone on 3 floors.

Then our one-and-only car died. Completely stopped working. So we had to buy a new one fairly quickly with money we don't have...

Finally, my first-born entered kindergarten. It's the first time I'm away from him (he's never been to daycare.)

My point is this: as much as we love scrapbooking, it happens that life gets in the way. And that's okay! Soon enough, things will get better and our passion for the craft will come back stronger than ever!
