Loving the April Kit!

I am having so much fun creating with the fun and lovely April kit! When you have a few minutes, head over to the gallery and check out the layouts the team is posting! The papers are fabulous and the embellishments, well, I love them so much it was hard for me to use them at first! Finally, on "blink", I really put them to use!

I used a sketch from the Pagemaps Blog contest and lots of wonderful papers and embellies from the April kit. I added some ruffles, my new favorite addition, with cupcake liners (blue) and crepe paper (pink), things you probably have in your home right now! If you are concerned about them being acid/lignin free, you could spray them with archival mist, or make sure they don't touch your photo. For a finishing touch, I used embroidery thread in the corners. I can't wait to see all the fresh, springtime layouts and projects you will be making with your April kit soon!
