tearing paper....I know pretty simple...BUT you can get different looks the way you tear your paper. for instance tearing lay your paper flat then pull the paper towards you, it will show the white core:

If you didn't want to see the white core you could just use the other side of the tear:

*other fun tips of tearing:

-ink/distress the white core

-roll the torn edges up towards you so they are rounded

-crumple the torn paper
