Black & White and color all over

Hi!

One of my favorite layouts from the July Kit was this one that I made about my DD. I was looking at it wondering why I liked it so much, when I realized that I loved the Black & White photo against all the bright colors of the kit.

Next time when you are getting ready to print up a bunch of photos -- choose 2 or 3 and print them in black and white. We always have such fun, bright colors in our kits -- and July was NO exception. Then, using any layout you want -- just add strips of brightly colored paper to a black and white photo! I bet you'll love the result!

So often, it seems we get carried away with all the fun papers and embellishments that we forget that it is the photo we are trying to showcase! I think this look really makes you focus on the picture -- and that was my goal!

So, print a few in black & white -- then add some color all over!
