Handmade Embelishments

I really enjoy making my own embelishments. So far I've made flowers out of ribbon, cork and layered paper. I recently tried working with tissue paper and created the pink flower on the layout below. It was pretty easy to do, I layered different sizes of circles, crumpled them up a bit and pressed in the center for the button. I really enjoy the end product. Tissue paper is really fun to work with and versatile too, it comes in so many colors that the possibilities are endless. I think I will shortly try making pleated ribbon with tissue paper. Do you enjoy making your own page decorations? What is your favorite thing to do?
Happy Scrapping!
