Rip up those strips!

I'm really enjoying the JUNE kit! It is SO full of bright colors. One of my favorite 'looks' is bright colors against a black background. So, I pulled a piece of black cardstock from my stash and started making strips of bright paper. To add some dimension, I used my fingernails and 'distressed' both the ends of the each paper. Then, I randomly adhered them to the paper. I cut some shorter, left some longer, didn't even try to match up sizes or colors.

Here is the whole layout so you can see the 'look'.  This is a GREAT layout to do after you have done several layouts and have bits and pieces of patterned paper left over.
