Creatin' Cards

Hey guys! Happy Thursday to you all! I have been playing with the awesome April Kit!! I made 3 cards that I would like to share with you today.

"Hi: A Splendid, Lovely Day"
I have been wanting to create another easel card, so I decided to do so with this card. Everything that you see, with the exception of the cream colored and Coredinations cardstock, white Thickers, rhinestones, and brad was pulled from the kit. I covered the chipboard bird with some leftover patterned paper. I just love this little bird! It is so cute! I used some Helmar 3D Zap Dots to pop the wing up a tad. The ribbon, sticker, and flowers are all included in the add-on's that coordinate with the April kit.

Up close of the bird....

The rhinestones hold the card open.

"Go Fly A Kite"
Second, I just had to lift the 'kite' idea from our creative Jill!!! I just love what she did with the patterned paper to make kites. I hope she won't mind me lifting her idea. Thanks for the inspiration Jill! Everything on this card, except for the alphas, are all from the kit as well. The alphas are Jenni Bowlin.

Again, the flowers are included with the add-on's for the April kit...

I used the Martha Stewart Icicle punch (turned upside down) to create my grass.

To show the dimension....

"Oh Let The Sunshine In & Face It With A Grin"
I used my SCAL (Sure Cuts A Lot) software and Cricut to create this shaped card. The blue paper is from the kit, but the rest is from my personal scrappy stash. I added in some bling, Stickles, and embossing also. The sticker is included with the kit. I used Helmar 3D Zap Dots to pop the front cloud up.

Close up...

I have had so much fun with this April kit and still have a lot of goodies left. I can't wait to dig into it again and create! I hope these cards have given you some scrappy inspiration today. Enjoy your weekend and Happy Scrappin'!
